SecureAuth is proud to announce that it has been named a leader in the KuppingerCole Leadership Compass for Adaptive Authentication 2018 for its flagship offering, SecureAuth IdP. In the report, SecureAuth was recognized as a leader for its “compelling product with their broad support of authenticators, granular risk engine, and threat intelligence utilization.” This marks the second year in a row SecureAuth IdP has been named a leader by KuppingerCole.

SecureAuth secures the enterprise across all principal threat vectors by eliminating identity-related breaches and enabling trust. As part of the company’s identity security automation platform, adaptive authentication has moved from being an increasingly popular identity and access management technique to becoming an essential tool within identity security to prevent identity-related breaches – all while providing a non-disruptive, positive user experience. While offering stronger security and providing better user experience than two-factor authentication, adaptive authentication provides rich context and deep risk analysis, allowing access without requiring users to enter a second method of authentication unless risks are detected.

“Adaptive authentication is being used today by enterprises to provide additional authentication assurance for access to applications involving health care, insurance, travel, aerospace, defense, government, manufacturing, and retail. Adaptive authentication can help mitigate risks and protect enterprises against fraud and loss,” said KuppingerCole’s John Tolbert in the Leadership Compass for Adaptive Authentication.

The Leadership Compass – available for download here – examines the market segment, vendor products and service functionality, relative market share, and innovative approaches for adaptive authentication solutions. Because of its secure, innovative and modern approach that is flexible to customer’s unique needs and infrastructure SecureAuth IdP was named a leader for Product, Innovation, and as Overall Leader. In addition, SecureAuth IdP was rated with distinction in all five categories of the report: Security, Functionality, Integration, Interoperability, and Usability.

Similar to the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Access Management 2018, the Leadership Compass highlights that SecureAuth IdP offers more forms of authentication methods than any other vendor assessed in the report.

At SecureAuth, we pride ourselves in the way that we continue to find new and innovative ways to eliminate business problems and provide modern and flexible solutions. The report validates our drive to protect and detect against attackers, and move towards our goal of eliminating identity-related breaches.
