Core Security Appoints New Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Technology Officer

ROSWELL, GA (November 18, 2016) — Core Security®, a leader in Vulnerability, Access Risk Management and Network Detection and Response, today named Chris Sullivan as the company’s new Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Technology Officer. He will oversee all aspects of Core’s security principals, strategy and posture, and the overall technology strategy across business lines and partnerships. In addition, Sullivan will help drive CoreLabs, a center for cyber security research and innovation, which maximizes collaboration between developers and cyber defenders across all security domains.

Sullivan has previously held positions as General Manager of Core Security's Intelligence/Analytics business, and VP of EMEA Operations, Advanced Solutions, Customer Solutions and Professional Services. Prior to joining the company, he held senior management roles and technical roles at iSOLX, Onsett International, Samsung, IBM and Digital Equipment Corporation.


Sullivan also serves as the company’s primary liaison with the Advance Cyber Security Center, has chaired the ISACA Access Risk Benchmarking Standards Committee, manages a number of industry forums on LinkedIn, speaks at leading industry event, blogs and is regularly quoted by security publications.
