Courion Names New Chief Technology Officer
ROSWELL, GA (March 1, 2016)--Courion, the market leader in intelligent identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions today named Flavio de Cristofaro as the company’s new chief technology officer.
“Flavio’s extensive cybersecurity experience will be a strong asset as we combine the Courion and Core Security products,” said David Earhart, Chief Executive Officer at Courion. “Flavio will work with our customers around the globe and our development organization to develop and execute a technology roadmap focused on our Actionable Insight platform.”
In November 2015, Courion acquired Core Security. Together, the two domain leaders provide the first continuous, comprehensive insight into the enterprise security posture and attack surface by combining identity and vulnerability management expertise. de Cristofaro’s previous role was at Core Security, where he was vice president of engineering and head of the R&D center.
“By bringing together two security powerhouses from their respective spaces, Courion is now uniquely positioned to offer customers a holistic view of vulnerabilities and access risks within their business systems as well as a way for them to prioritize what is most critical and take action," said de Cristofaro.
de Cristofaro brings more than 12 years of IT security evaluation and implementation, penetration testing, product development, and identity access and risk management experience to his new role. Before Core Security, he led onsite and remote IT security assessments and implementation engagements for several clients worldwide at Deloitte. He holds a degree as an electronics engineer from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires Argentina and earned an executive MBA from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
