Pemex, Mexican state-owned petroleum corporation claims it had recovered from Nov.10 cyberattack. However, it is being met with some skepticism. The attack impacted about 5% of its computer equipment according to the company.
However, if Pemex has truly fought off and bounced back from the attack, then it’s an indication that the company exercises good cybersecurity practices, said Fausto Oliveira, principal security architect at Acceptto.
