Identity security is critical to how leading organizations around the world enable employees, partners and customers to securely access applications and data. With a rapid business transformation underway due to Covid-19 impact on how organizations do business today, identity security has been elevated to a Board and C-level topic.
For that reason, I’m extremely excited to announce the addition of Yassir Abousselham to the SecureAuth Board of Directors. Yassir brings a wealth of senior executive leadership within security, identity and technology. He will be a tremendous asset to how we deliver the most secure and flexible authentication experience for workforce and customer identities to organizations around the world.
Yassir is currently Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Splunk, the world’s first Data-to-Everything Platform with more than 6,000 employees in 27 offices worldwide, where he leads internal cybersecurity efforts and is responsible for protecting the systems and data customers entrust with Splunk.

Prior to joining Splunk this past February, Yassir served as Chief Information Security Officer at Okta. Before Okta, Yassir acted as the Chief Information Security Officer for SoFi, in addition to holding various security leadership roles at Google and EY. Yassir is an active member in the cybersecurity industry, from co-chairing the San Francisco Evanta CISO Summit, to acting as an advisor for cybersecurity startups. Yassir also holds two U.S. patents in trusted network communication.
