SecureAuth Announces International Expansion into Europe

LONDON, United Kingdom, 12 November 2014 – SecureAuth, the innovative identity and information security access control provider, today announces that it has expanded operations to Europe with the appointment of Bruce Jubb as the company’s first Director for EMEA.

Between April 2013 and April 2014, 81% of large companies and 60% of small companies in the UK experienced a breach of their information systems[i]. Designed to solve the challenges associated with password based security solutions, SecureAuth provides businesses with flexible and frictionless user access controls to securely manage the diverse range of applications, resources and access points most organisations use. Recognised by Gartner as ‘Visionary’, the firm has already built a strong customer base in the US including Sony Pictures, Ticketmaster and Kodak. Its European operation will be focused on serving global customers and building a strong customer base.

Bruce Jubb joins SecureAuth from NComputing, the desktop virtualisation providers, where he was responsible for its go-to-market approach and restructuring the company’s channel strategy across the business. At SecureAuth Jubb plans to establish a 100% channel focused business in Europe, starting with the UK and Ireland with plans to expand in the Nordics, Benelux and then Germany.

“SecureAuth has been driving innovation in the area of secure access control since its inception,” commented Jubb. “The company already has a number of global customers with a reach into Europe, the opportunity to use this as a stepping-stone to establish a strong base for SecureAuth in the region makes complete sense. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to drive this growth.”

Jubb continued, “Employees increasingly access sensitive corporate networks and information on a range of platforms and from a range of devices. The problem many companies face is how to enable this securely as authentication can be a complex matter to navigate. SecureAuth believes that it is important for any business of any size to have a secure yet flexible authentication solution, which brings the safety and security of sensitive information back into the hands of the company.”

Craig Lund, CEO for SecureAuth commented, “SecureAuth’s products already have a presence in the European market as many global businesses begin to adopt our technology. There is a clear demand for strong authentication capabilities in businesses of all sizes across the region. This expansion will enable us to better serve our existing customers as well as bringing new ones on board.”
