SecureAuth Authenticates Trust between Mobile Developers and Amazon Cognito
Enterprises Can Now Easily Integrate their Exiting User Data Store for Secure Access to AWS-powered Apps and Services
IRVINE, Nov. 11, 2014 – Enterprise mobile developers using Amazon Cognito to store and manage user data and apps in the AWS Cloud now have an easy and secure method for leveraging their existing user data stores. SecureAuth IdP, an award-winning access control solution from SecureAuth Corporation, leverages enterprise identity data stores such as Active Directory to provide secure and flexible single sign-on and multi-factor authentication to AWS-powered applications and resources. IdP, the first OpenID Connect (OIDC) compatible provider for Amazon Cognito, is being showcased in a technology preview this week.

The integration between SecureAuth IdP and Amazon Cognito allows Active Directory users, for example, to be registered and provisioned in Amazon Cognito, providing a real-time push of user identities during the authentication process. Additionally, the OpenID Connect (OIDC) based integration with SecureAuth IdP expands enterprises’ authentication scenarios with identity stores in Amazon, Google, and Facebook.
